It is heartening to see that such displays of intelligence and socio-political insight as Mike Ingenthron's column "A Dearth of Diversity" (DP 9/21/92) are given the honor of inhabiting a quarter-page of this publication. I think that the "sniveling" student body would come to a consensus on the notion that Ingenthron's dining options on Walnut Street are far more pressing topics of debate than issues of student life. Yo, a little honest commentary: we come to college to learn how to analyze and evaluate our belief systems, not hide behind them by whining about the poor injured majority. The world of critical thinking is not such a scary thing. Ingenthron should just try coming down out of his White Castle and taste some ideas that haven't been pre-packaged or mass-marketed. Or he should cook his own. He's got the power. ALANNA MEDLOCK College '93
