Students pursuing multi/interdisciplinary majors tend to do better on the SAT than the student pursuing math or engineering majors, according to a newly published Business Insider article. Despite the fact that this standardized test is not the perfect indicator for student’s college performances, College Board’s 2014 report on average SAT scores for every college majors demonstrates some interesting trends. Multi/interdisciplinary studies usually have the highest combined reading and writing scores. Students with interest in physical sciences(chemistry, physics, etc.) rank second on the combined scores.
