The Daily Pennsylvanian spoke with the new leaders of Penn’s main minority coalition about their goals and plans for the upcoming year.
The announcement comes after Teri Windisch, who was named the Center's executive director last year, stepped down from the position. MacDermott-Havey will oversee approximately 45 individuals affiliated with the Center.
Musk first offered to buy the social media company in late April, after becoming the largest shareholder in the company earlier that month.
The panel was headed by three speakers: Penn professor and Political Science Department Chair Ian Lustick, former Deputy Director of Jewish Voices for Peace Rabbi Alissa Wise, and Jewish Voices for Peace member Marta Guttenberg.
