While Saturday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional marked the end of the cross country season for most of the men's and women's teams, junior Stacy Kim has one more race on her schedule. Her time of 20:56.6 was good enough for sixth place and a berth in the NCAA National Championship taking place Nov.


A plea for Muslims to seek justice

By Lauren Textor The Daily Pennsylvanian Muslim Americans should serve more actively as leaders for social justice in their communities, Islam Awareness Week speaker Intisar Rabb said last night. Rabb, a Princeton graduate student, said the events and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina are an example of a time when the Muslim community could have helped more.



Offerings at new campus eatery almost not worth bursaring

Three years, three restaurants. If you go by the numbers, the retail spot at 3716 Spruce St. seems doomed to cater to a never-ending parade of eateries, each incapable of attracting a sizeable following. But what is it really like inside the new Aramark-run freshman hub now known as Savory? Is three times the charm? Being the hard-hitting reporter I am, I decided to brave the hordes of Quadrangle residents and find out for myself.
