Columnist Francesco Salamone argues that elitism fosters a culture of shortcuts and entitlement, undermining intellectual curiosity and the true purpose of education.

Gbowee, widely known for her leadership in the Liberian peace movement and her advocacy for women’s roles in conflict resolution, spoke about her experiences and the vital role women play in peacebuilding efforts across Africa.

Over 900 Penn affiliates registered for the event, half of whom were students, according to a University spokesperson.

Also, Penn's chapter of Jewish Voices for Peace hosted a Gaza Solidarity Sukkah yesterday.

Penn Abroad will offer 14 Penn Global Seminar (PGS) courses for the Spring 2025 term, featuring new program sites like Brazil, Bulgaria, and Malawi.
