Cuban, co-founder of Cost Plus Drugs and Shark Tank investor, spoke about disrupting the health care industry through affordable medication at a packed fireside chat hosted by Penn’s Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

The memorandum of understanding between the two schools, first signed five years ago, aims to improve literacy and civic participation.

The center will will aid computational and data-driven research through hardware, software, system support, and research consulting services, with the goal of advancing Penn’s research community, according to the announcement. 

Students were able to participate in a variety of activities at the festival, such as axe throwing, pumpkin and face painting, a 360 photo booth, and bounce houses.

The inaugural cohort was announced in 2021, and this year’s group will mark the last cohort of fellows named under the initiative.
