Penn Association for Gender Equity hosted a forum at Civic house to share perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses of the Women's March.

Students at the discussion commented on the pink “pussyhats” worn by protesters at the Women’s March. Some were concerned that the hats were not inclusive of transgender women, while others cited the importance of the hats as a symbol of unified opposition to President Donald Trump.









While some peer advisors send "good luck" texts before midterms and bring their advisees candy during finals, others are often not heard from after New Student Orientation.

The Daily Pennsylvanian surveyed 24 freshmen, and only four responded that they had found their peer advisor to be useful. Three of the four noted that they had contacted or been contacted by their peer advisor after NSO.

As a member of the Vietnamese Student Association, Nguyen talked about celebrating the holiday at Penn. Despite being away from her home and family, Nguyen said she was happy to see that “a lot of people still cherish the traditions that we have, and we have a great community to celebrate with.”
