In an interview with The Daily Pennsylvanian, School of Nursing Dean Antonia Villarruel said the ranking is “reflective of the consistent excellence of nursing at Penn.”

The Provost’s Office also honored three School of Arts and Sciences faculty members with University-wide awards.

Amid their ongoing bids to represent Pennsylvania’s third congressional district, the three candidates discussed immigration, foreign relations, affordability, and community safety. 

The lab explores how large groups of artificial intelligence agents — systems that act on behalf of users — can operate together without causing harm in a high-stakes environment.

The March 25 event, titled “A Conversation with Elaine Hsieh Chou,” was part of the Liu Endowed Program and co-sponsored by Penn’s English Department and Asian American Studies Program. 

According to the announcement, over 61,000 students applied to Penn this year, marking a decrease from last year’s applicant pool of over 72,000. 

 The talk is scheduled to take place at the Penn Museum on April 14.

The event also facilitated a discussion of the University's operating budget.

After circulating the document, Penn will solicit feedback from faculty, staff, and students to shape the final set of policies.

Penn will collaborate with the WMF’s new Suzanne Deal Booth Institute for Heritage Preservation, which aims to integrate education with preservation projects.

Ahead of the week’s programming, The Daily Pennsylvanian spoke to members of the Penn Association for Gender Equity team about their goals. 

“Closing Paul Robeson — the last high school in University City’s heart — sends a message to Black and brown kids that they don’t belong in neighborhoods of opportunity,” Gauthier said.

Penn was the only university on the list to have two individuals ranked as top 10 scholars — Penn Carey Law professors Jill Fisch and Elizabeth Pollman.

Fawcett joined Penn’s faculty as an assistant professor in 1978, a position she held until 1999.

Mango Mango Dessert is a specialized franchise serving mango-centric desserts at over 50 locations in 15 states across the country. 

The new location will mark The Enerjuicer’s third location in Philadelphia, joining one in Suburban Station and a newer storefront opening near Washington Square.

The vast majority — roughly 90% — of $2.7 million donated went to Democratic organizations or candidates.
