PURM offers first or second-year Penn undergraduates the opportunity to conduct 10 weeks of research under the guidance of a University faculty member each summer.
Developed in partnership with Penn Dining and Business Services, the machine serves noodle dishes costing anywhere between $7.99 and $12.99.

The three courses are taught by Vice Dean of Entrepreneurship Lori Rosenkopf, along with Wharton professors Christian Terwiesch, Karl Ulrich, and Henning Piezunka.
The lawsuit stems from a 2021 partnership to develop online courses between the Prysm Group — a technology consulting firm — and Wharton’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
While undergraduate students are required to live on Penn’s campus for a minimum of two years, many choose to move off campus as upperclassmen.
The restaurant storefront — located on 36th and Chestnut streets — remains unstaffed during regular business hours and contains no signage indicating plans to reopen or announcing a permanent closure.
