Gil Hovav is the great-grandson of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, who began the revival of Hebrew as a spoken language.

The sessions, organized by Penn Violence Prevention and Penn Campus Recreation, will be held at Pottruck each Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. until the end of October.

The talk is part of Annenberg School for Communication lecturer Murali Balaji’s SNF Paideia course, “Media Industries and Nationalism.”

The returning publication seeks to amplify the Black student experience on campus through a variety of media, such as photography, journalism, and opinion pieces.

Wiley’s tenure as the director of the CPCRS will begin in July of 2023.
