Fall 2013 Undergraduate Assembly Elections


Approximately 23% of the student body voted on measures to reform student government. Students will now vote directly for a UA president and vice president during elections.

Votes on proposed changes to student government elections reached the necessary threshold for consideration. Turnout surpassed 20 percent on two questions, respectively, by 6 p.m. Thursday.

Jay Sean gets ‘down’ with Penn

Over 500 people showed up at MarBar for the “Jay Sean Visits Philly” event. DJ XTC, a South Asian X-perience DJ and a University of the Sciences senior also played a variety of hit tracks.

Reported influenza-like illnesses at Penn remain low, with 12.9 cases per 10,000 students for the week of Nov. 29 through Dec. 5.

Eighteen percent of students had voted on the current UA referendum as of midnight last night — bringing it only two percentage points away from the 20 needed in order to enter consideration.

While Monmouth's 2-7 record is better than winless Penn’s, both teams will be desperate for a win Saturday as Penn travels to West Long Branch, N.J.
