After a week in which both the Penn men’s and women’s squash teams defeated national power Princeton, the Red and Blue now enter a demanding stretch of Ivy League competition that starts this Saturday at home against another national contender, Yale.


Coming off an underwhelming performance in a loss to Yale last weekend, the Quakers will look to rebound this Saturday at the Ken Anderson Invitational hosted by Temple. The five-team invitational will feature Penn, Temple, Cornell, Ursinus and West Chester.

	Junior gymnast Amber Woo provided a bright spot in last week’s disappointing performance against Yale, posting a team score of 9.550 on the beam.

Men's Basketball Loses to Dartmouth

For the first time, Penn women’s basketball will donate a month of the proceeds from its Charge for a Cure program to help benefit the Dut Jok Youth Empowerment Foundation, an organization founded by Penn men’s basketball’s Dau Jok.

The focus of Wednesday night’s University Council meeting in Bodek Lounge in Houston Hall was a proposal for Penn to divest from tobacco companies. The resounding question was how to balance a moral social responsibility with financial responsibilities.

After months of student dissatisfaction about the dining program at Hillel, Bon Appétit and Penn Dining introduced new changes that will see the return of meal swipes at Falk DIning Commons.


The Porch - Food trucks at 30th street station

Each Wednesday, Josh Kim can be found grilling gourmet burgers in his food truck at The Porch, an outdoor seating space next to 30th Street Station . At Spot Burger, Kim’s truck, burgers are built from scratch, from the butchering and grinding of the meat to the homemade condiments.
