Penn is currently collaborating with the National Nuclear Security Administration for the improvement of irradiator security nationwide. Used for medical and scientific purposes, irradiators are devices that generate controlled amounts of radiation and apply them to target materials.

Most Penn students would probably have trouble remembering a time before political campaigns asked for monetary donations in addition to support. Many, however, prefer to back their candidates in other ways.



Scott Giffin’s All-American dream

Junior Scott Giffin defeated No. 6 Mike Benefiel en route to All-America honors and a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Tournament, the highest finish for a Penn wrestler since 2007.
