The Police Athletic League of Philadelphia — an organization with the stated mission of “Cops Helping Kids,” which operates 27 centers across Philadelphia — honored Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush at its annual award dinner Tuesday night for her contributions to the organization.

Looking back on her time at Penn, Fran Walker said she will miss the relationships she’s cultivated more than any one experience or event. “I won’t miss the place, I won’t miss Spring Fling,” she said, “but I will miss all of the colleagues I’ve worked with.”
