The Washington Post and the New York Times reported that the new unpaid position of assistant to the president grants Trump her own office in the West Wing, security clearance and communication devices.

While the Penn Women’s Center currently provides free eco-friendly tampons, pads and liners, and Student Health Service also provides free menstrual products to students at the SHS offices, free access to these products are not available in on-campus bathrooms.

College junior Michelle Xu won a decisive victory over College junior Justin Hopkins for the position of 2017-2018 undergraduate assembly president.

“It’s great to be here as a part of Penn not paying tuition,” Biden said. His two children and two grandchildren graduated from Penn. “You all have an A as far as I’m concerned.”

The group called for an immediate “moratorium” on investments in coal, and demanded a meeting with the whole school to talk about fossil fuel divestment more broadly, the Harvard Crimson reported.

Penn has admitted 3,699 students among 40,413 applicants to the Class of 2021 — a record-low 9.15 percent acceptance rate.

13 students from Fossil Free Penn were "written up" Wednesday evening by the administration after refusing to leave College Hall when the building was scheduled to close, according to College sophomore Zach Rissman, the sit-in co-coordinator, and College senior Gavi Reiter.  

Three Penn alumni are currently members of the Philadelphia City Council. Here’s a brief introduction to each one of them.

“What are we offering to the middle-range student, the student that can afford to pay some money towards education, but not enough to cover the full bill?” University Director of Financial Aid Elaine Papas-Varas asked. “Does that mean loans for a middle-income student?”

Director of Business and Hospitality Services Pam Lampitt says Penn, like Temple, is now paying significantly more for the sweetened drinks available at dining halls. But Lampitt said the prospect of a raise in costs for students was never mentioned.

“I said, well, that’s weird not to be accepted to this group that seemed like they should want more people to talk about rape and sexual assault,” Butkiewicz said. 

Director of Sexual Violence Prevention Jessica Mertz hopes that the entire community becomes involved in stopping sexual assault so that an incident like the one at Northwestern doesn’t happen on Penn’s campus.

“Everyone is on Facebook and Twitter now, and [these sites] can’t filter out all of the information people see,” Wharton Professor Pinar Yildirim said. “Fake news now just naturally falls into people’s feeds.”

The teen, whose name has not been released, was shot in the hip according to NBC. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and is listed as being in critical condition, according to police.

Lyman Whitaker, the featured sculptor, has been sculpting for more 40 years and has been creating “Wind Sculptures” since the 1980s.

In a three to one vote, SRC board members passed over Penn, along with Temple, Drexel, and New York University, in favor of the Relay Graduate School of Education—an institution not accredited to award master’s degrees in Pennsylvania.
