March 9: In the evening, a report of theft was made at Pottruck Health & Fitness Center, with losses totaling between $50 and $200.

Students at Saint Joseph’s University remembered Mark Dombrowski in a prayer service held by the university's chaplain on March 19.

The incident coincided with National School Walkout Day, when high school and university students from across the country showed support for stricter gun regulations in response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting that left 17 dead last month.

Feb. 9: A theft which resulted in losses of over $200 was reported in the afternoon at Levin Building. The police arrested a suspect.

On Jan. 30,  the concrete sign of Wynn Commons was vandalized with black paint. This comes after reports of former trustee Steve Wynn engaging in a pattern of sexual misconduct.

Jan. 23: A 32-year old woman was arrested after stealing between $50 and $200 worth of merchandise from the Last Word Bookstore.

The head of the police union was told by Rush that if Penn police officers were not happy with their current conditions that they could take their employment elsewhere. 

Woodward entered his plea for not guilty and his bail was set for $5 million, five times the amount of the scheduled bail for the crime.

According to Kathleen Shields Anderson, the Director of Operations & External Affairs for DPS, the robber took money from the store. 

A new report from ProPublica has found that Samuel Woodward was a member of the Atomwaffen Division, which has been described as an active hate group of neo-Nazis. 

Jan. 11: Someone reported a theft at the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house, 3700 Locust Walk, around noon. The stolen items totaled more than $200 in losses. 

The Division of Public Safety's website described the suspect as a roughly 20-year-old thin, black man, donning an orange jacket. 

The Orange County Register reported on Jan. 15 that College sophomore Bernstein was stabbed over 20 times in what authorities suggest was "an act of rage." 

Contrary to certain news reports that the search for College sophomore Blaze Bernstein had ended, efforts to locate the Penn student are still underway, authorities said. 

A traffic alert was posted on the DPS website and Twitter account around the time of the incident, barring any traffic on Walnut Street between 30th and 34th streets. 

Police told NBC Philadelphia that the incident is the first murder of 2018. In 2017, 317 homicides occurred in Philadelphia, the highest number since 2012.
