This year is the 20th anniversary of the Nora Magid Mentorship Prize. To celebrate (and kick off prize application season), we have, with the help of Kelly Writers House, expanded our annual “Careers in Media” panel at KWH into three separate events, with seven award-winning Nora Prize winners returning to campus:

Ashley Parker, Matt Flegenheimer, Luis Ferre-Sadurni, Maddie Ngo, Jason Schwartz, Jess Goodman and Isabella Simonetti.

They will participate in—and some of them will moderate—the following events on October 5 and 6.

At 12 PM on October 5, at the Kelly Writers House main room, we'll have a panel discussion about current political reporting, featuring Ashley Parker of the The Washington Post, and Matt Flegenheimer and Luis Ferré Sadurní of the New York Times, moderated by bestselling author Jessica Goodman.

At 5:30 PM at KWH, we'll have the annual “Careers in Media” panel, featuring Ashley Parker of the Washington Post, Maddie Ngo of the New York Times and Jason Schwartz of Sports illustrated, moderated by Isabella Simonetti of the Wall Street Journal (with a little Nora Prize commentary from Stephen Fried). There will be a short reception afterwards at KWH (and then a private reception for Nora winners and board members).
