On March 12, court documents were unsealed, charging 50 people in one of the biggest admissions schemes in history. This has stimulated conversation about the state of the college admissions process, and the value of an elite education.

While Penn wasn't named in the Operation Varsity Blues affidavit, similar admissions schemes have hit our campus. Most recently, it was uncovered that the Penn parent who bribed Jerome Allen contacted the consultant at the center of the admissions scandal.

We are looking for guest columns that make compelling arguments from the Penn community to gauge a variety of different perspectives. Parents, students from all backgrounds, athletes, coaches, and admissions experts are highly encouraged to submit.

Tell us your take on the college admissions scandal
