College freshman Madison Holleran died Friday night in Center City, according to an email sent to Hill College House residents early Saturday morning. She was 19.
The circumstances surrounding Holleran’s death are currently unclear.
Holleran was a member of Penn’s varsity track and field program. She was from Allendale, New Jersey.
Holleran’s is the third undergraduate death since the start of winter break in December.
Wharton and Engineering senior Kevin Zhao died while traveling with his family in China over break. Wharton and Engineering junior Pulkit Singh died last Sunday in his off-campus house.
