The Penn women's basketball team fell to 0-3 in the Ivy League and 3-14 overall with an ugly 56-39 loss to Dartmouth
With Carrie Biemer in for only nine minutes in the first half due to foul trouble, Penn struggled mightily offensively and trailed 21-15 at halftime.
Biemer didn't really get going in the second half either, leaving the scoring burden to forward Jerin Smith and guard Kelly Scott, who each finished with 13 points.
Smith shot 5-for-7 from the field, but the rest of the Quakers managed a paltry 25 percent shooting.
Penn had no answer for Dartmouth sisters Brittney and Margaret Smith. The duo combined for 35 points and 10 rebounds, led by Brittney's game-high 28.
