Assault

Jan. 14 - Devon Bond, 19, unaffiliated with the University, of the 100 block of Carton Avenue in Marlton, N.J., was arrested at about midnight for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a Penn Police officer after allegedly attempting to leave Allegro's Pizza, located at 3942 Spruce St., without paying for his food.

Burglary

Jan. 12 - A male student, 31, reported at about 2:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect entered his residence, located at the 3900 block of Chestnut Street, and removed cash.

Fraud

Jan. 9 - Cash was reported missing from previous deposits made for the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, located at 3260 South St., at about 10:30 a.m. Jan. 13 - A female student, 29, reported at about 5:45 p.m. at Vance Hall that someone made unauthorized charges on her credit card. Jan. 13 - An unknown suspect was reported at about noon to have made an unauthorized deposit of a check belonging to Ralston House. Jan. 15 - A female student, 18, reported at about 8:15 p.m. at the 3700 block of Spruce Street that an unknown suspect made unauthorized charges on her credit card. Jan. 15 - A female student, 27, reported at about 11:30 a.m. at Huntsman Hall that an unknown suspect made unauthorized charges on her credit card.

Theft

Jan. 12 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 34, reported at about 10 p.m. that someone entered her secured vehicle at the 3600 block of Sansom Street and removed her GPS device that was left in plain view. Jan. 12 - Monica Murphy, 43, unaffiliated with the University, of the 3000 block of Potter Street, was arrested at about 3:45 p.m. for allegedly leaving CVS, located at 3409 Walnut St., without paying for merchandise valued at $71. Jan. 14 - An unknown suspect was reported to have left the AT&T; store, located at 3741 Walnut St., at about 12:45 p.m. without paying for merchandise valued at approximately $400. Jan. 15 - A female University employee, 36, reported at about 8:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect removed her computer from a cubicle in an office at 3535A Market St. -Prameet Kumar All information was provied by the Division of Public Safety.
