In what is sure to be a Democratic year, we hope voters won't reject Tom Corbett because of his Republican label.
This incumbent has done a great job these past four years fighting gun violence, protecting the elderly from fraud, and cracking down on child predators. By creating numerous task forces designed to address different crime issues, Corbett has served Pennsylvania well.
The 59-year-old is also aggressively fighting corruption in the State General Assembly by investigating improper payments to state employees for campaign work. His opponents haven't made a compelling case for change. We endorse Corbett for another term.
