Despite the heavy chance of rain over Spring Fling weekend, the show will go on, according to SPEC.
"It's going to go on rain or shine," said College sophomore and Fling co-chairwoman Dasha Barannik who is running the operations for the weekend festivities.
All the stages where performers will be entertaining on Friday and Saturday, including the main show at Franklin Field, have roof coverings, so they will be able to withstand the water if it rains.
With everything set, the only question is whether students will be deterred by the rain.
"I am actually planning to go even if it rains. I'm very excited," Wharton freshman Rohit Chauhan said.
"It rained two years ago and people still came out," Barannik said.
This year over 6,000 of 8,000 available tickets were sold for the Friday night concert and over 1,600 guest passes were purchased - about the same number as last year.
