Coaches to launch new course in Fall '08
If you didn't pre-register for fall classes, don't worry: the newest course wasn't even in the system yet.
Several Penn coaches will team up to teach Coachspeak, listed as English 057, in the upcoming fall semester.
"Really teaching the grammar, syntax. Making sure the message gets through," said baseball coach John Cole said.
Football coach Al Bagnoli will also guest lecture.
"Eeehhhhhhh," he said.
And while their class roster size sits at zero, the Penn coaches are confident their course will turn it around.
"This course is still growing, so we're not worried yet," women's squash coach Jack Wyant said. "We're gonna take this class one day at a time, and we think good things will happen."
Thorpe-Clark too sexy for shirt
Men's squash coach Craig Thorpe-Clark lost his shirt yesterday in a bout of acute sexiness.
The 5-foot-1 Australian was found shirtless on the floor of Ringe Courts, and was rushed to the hospital by Sam Peele shortly afterwards.
Thorpe-Clark is in stable but sexy condition.
