Assault

April 7- Charles Gines, 40, unaffiliated with the University and of the 3900 block of Ludlow Street, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 46-year-old female unaffiliated with the University, while involved in a dispute at 10:25 a.m.

Burglary

April 8 - Two male complainants, 20, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect removed two laptops from their residence on the 4000 block of Baltimore Avenue at 8:30 p.m.

April 8 - A male University employee, 31, reported that a DVD player had been removed from the 4000 block of Walnut Street at 5:30 a.m.

Theft

April 4 - Unknown offenders were reported to have removed merchandise, valued at about $280, without paying from Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., at about 7:11 p.m.

April 5 - Two females unaffiliated with the University, 27 and 23, reported that an unknown suspect removed their unattended purses from the 4100 block of Locust Street at 8:40 p.m.

April 5 - A female student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended laptop from a lounge in Hill College House, located at 3333 Walnut St. at about 5 p.m.

April 5 - A female, 56, unaffiliated with the University, reported that an unknown suspect removed her unsecured purse from the Moravian Cafe Food Court, located at the corner of 34th and Walnut Streets, at about 2 p.m.

April 6 - A female student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended laptop from Van Pelt Library, located at 3420 Walnut St., at about 3 p.m.

April 7 - An unsecured projector was reported to have been removed from a room in Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, located at 3620 Locust Walk, at about 3 p.m.

April 7 - A male unaffiliated with the University, 22, reported that his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was removed from Steinhardt Hall, located at 215 S. 39th St., by an unknown suspect at about 2:45 p.m.

April 8 - A male student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect removed his laptop that was secured in a locker at Franklin Field, located at 233 S. 33rd St., at about 7:30 p.m.

April 8 - A 22-year-old student of unknown gender reported that a secured bicycle was removed from Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, located at 3620 Locust Walk, by an unknown suspect at about 4:15 p.m.

April 9 - Lateefah Lewis, 18, of the 2300 block of Nichols Street was arrested by Penn Police at about 6 p.m. for allegedly removing about $96 worth of merchandise from Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., without paying.

April 9 - A female unaffiliated with the University, 30, reported that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her unattended purse that was hanging behind her chair at Cosi, located at 140 S. 36th St.

April 9 - A female University employee, 26, reported that her unsecured bicycle was removed from the John Morgan Building, located at 3620 Hamilton Walk, by an unknown suspect at about 9:20 a.m.

April 10 - A 36-year-old female unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed cash from her unsecured vehicle parked at the garage located at South Street and Convention Avenue.

April 10 - A male student, 21, reported that an unknown suspect removed his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, from the 3700 block of Walnut Street at about 1:20 p.m.
