April 12 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that while walking within a building on the 3400 block of Market St., an unknown suspect forcibly removed her pocketbook and fled the scene, at about 6:30 p.m.
Assault
April 12 - Jason China, 26, of the 1700 block of 19th St., unaffiliated with the University, was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly striking a complainant and police officer on the 4000 block of Walnut St. at about 11:15 p.m.
Burglary
April 11 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect entered Penn Manor Apartments, located at 4045 Baltimore Ave., and removed a television, valued at about $1,400, at about 7 p.m.
April 11 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect entered a building on the 4000 block of Chestnut St. and removed personal property at about 7 p.m.
April 12 - A male University employee, 34, reported that an unknown suspect entered the New Chemistry Building, located at 231 S. 34th St., and removed a laptop at about 2:15 p.m.
April 12 - A University employee reported that an unknown suspect attempted to enter a room within Williams Hall, located at 255 S. 36th St., at about 12:30 p.m.
April 14 - A female University employee, 31, reported that an unknown suspect entered 4225 Pine St. and removed various items, valued at about $400, at about 1 p.m..
April 17 - An unknown suspect was reported to have entered a room within Leidy Lab, located at 3740 Hamilton Walk, and removed several electronic devices, valued at about $3,800, at about 11 p.m.
Theft
April 11 - A male University employee, 29, reported that his bicycle was taken from the 200 block of 34th St. at about 7:30 p.m.
April 11 - Joseph Robinson, 35, unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for allegedly leaving Fresh Grocer, located at 4001 Walnut St. without paying for merchandise valued at about $24, at about 1:30 p.m.
April 11 - Dale Irwin, 61, unaffiliated with the University, of the 400 block of S. 40th St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly attempting to remove a bicycle, locked with a cable lock, on the 4000 block of Irving St., at about 10:40 p.m.
April 12 - A male student, 21, reported that an unknown suspect removed property and various electronics from an unsecured room on the 3900 block of Spruce St. at about 10:15 p.m.
April 12 - A computer monitor was reported to have been taken from a room within the Moore School, located at 200 S. 33rd St., at about 6 p.m.
April 12 - An unknown suspect was reported to have taken merchandise without paying from Douglas Parfumerie, located at 3603 Walnut St., at about 2:50 p.m.
April 12 - Dennis Howard, 53, of the 200 block of Crawford St., was arrested for allegedly attempting to break into a vehicle on the 3900 block Ludlow St. at about midnight.
April 14 - A male student, 19, reported that his unattended and unsecured bicycle was removed by an unknown suspect at Rodin College House, located at 3901 Locust Walk, at about 1:15 p.m.
April 14 -A female employee, 44, reported that an unknown suspect removed her laptop from a secured office within the Moore School at about 11:20 a.m.
April 14 - James Jackson, 38, of the 1500 block of W. Olney Ave., unaffiliated with the University, was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly leaving the Douglas Parfumerie without paying for merchandise, valued at about $120, at about 10:30 a.m.
April 14 - Cash was reported to have been taken by an unknown suspect from a cash drawer at Cosi, located at 140 S. 36th St., about 12:30 a.m.
April 16 - A male student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect removed his laptop, valued at about $1,400, from a locker within Weightman Hall, located at 235 S. 33rd St., at about 4 p.m.
April 17 - A male unaffiliated with the University, 47, reported that his vehicle window was broken and personal items were removed from his car outside the University Lutheran Church, located at 3637 Chestnut St., at about 10:30 p.m.
April 17 - A female complainant reported that her backpack was stolen by an unknown suspect at Bucks County Coffee, located at 240 S. 40th St., at about 9:30 p.m.
April 17 - A male student, 20, reported that an unknown suspect removed personal items from his unsecured room within 4046 Spruce St. at about 4 p.m.
April 17 - A male unaffiliated with the University, 58, reported that his vehicle window was broken and personal items were removed from his car at 3726 Chestnut St. at about 3 a.m.
Narcotic
April 15 - Darryl Browne, 22, of the 800 block of Laurel Ave, unaffiliated with the University, was arrested by Penn Police on the 4000 block Walnut St., for allegedly possessing heroin at about 5:30 p.m.
April 15 - College freshman Adam Friedman, 19, was arrested for allegedly possessing marijuana in the Quadrangle, located at 3600 Spruce St., at about 12:20 a.m.
