Burglary

March 17 - Three employees reported that a laptop was removed from the Richards Building, located at 3700 Hamilton Walk, at about 8:40 a.m.

March 17 - A male employee and a female employee reported that an unknown suspect entered an unsecured room and a secured room and removed computers and other electronics from the John Morgan Building, located at 3620 Hamilton Walk, at about 8:30 a.m.

March 20 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that property was taken from her secured residence, located on the 3900 block of Ludlow St., at about 10 a.m.

Theft

March 14 - A male, 33, unaffiliated with the University reported that his bicycle, which was valued at about $150 and locked with a cable lock, was removed from a rack at the New Chemistry building, located at 231 S. 34th St., at about 7:30 p.m.

March 15 - Howard Ballard, 48, of the 2800 block of N. 29th St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly attempting to leave Fresh Grocer, located at 4001 Walnut St., without paying at about 2:30 a.m.

March 15 - A female student, 20, reported that her unattended laptop, valued at about $1,800, was removed from Huntsman Hall at about 7:15 p.m.

March 16 - A female student, 27, reported that her bicycle, which was valued at about $200 and locked with a chain lock, was removed from a rack at Rodin College House at about noon.

March 17 - A suspect was reported to have left Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., without paying for about $160 of merchandise at about 6 p.m.

March 17 - A female student, 27, reported that about $100 in cash was removed from her unattended bad within a locker at Pottruck Center at about 5:50 p.m.

March 17 -A male employee reported that an unknown suspect removed property from his unsecured office at Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, located at 3630 Locust Walk, at about 11:30 a.m.

March 17 - Anthony Beck, 23, of the 2700 block of Helen St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly attempting to leave Douglas Parfumerie, located at 3603 Walnut St., without paying for about $140 of merchandise.

March 18 - A male student, 28, reported that an unknown suspect removed his laptop, valued at about $2,000, from his unattended bag at Steinberg-Dietrich at about 4:15 p.m.

March 18 - An unknown suspect was reported to have left Douglas Parfumerie without paying for about $240 of merchandise at about 11 a.m.

March 19 - An unknown suspect was reported to have removed cash from a secured desk at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at about 11 a.m.

March 19 - Three TV monitors, valued at about $2,500, were reported stolen from an unsecured room at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th St., at about 2:50 p.m.

March 19 - Medicine was reported stolen from a secured office at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, located at 3910 Powelton Ave., at about 3:45 p.m.

March 20 - A female unaffiliated with the University, 22, reported that a suspect bumped into her and took her wallet, valued at about $100, on the 100 block of 36th St. at about 3:50 p.m.

March 20 -- A female unaffiliated with the University, 35, reported that an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle, parked on the 4000 block of Sansom St., and removed her GPS system, which was in plain view, at about 3 p.m.

Vandalism

March 16 - A male student, 19, reported that an unknown suspect broke a glass window at Sigma Chi, located at 3809 Locust Walk, at about 2:30 a.m.

March 19 - A female staff member, 26, reported that her car, parked on the 4300 block of Locust St., was vandalized at about 5 p.m.
