Burglary

March 8 - Three male University employees reported that a laptop and other electronic accessories were taken from a secured room in the Vagelos Research Labs at about noon.

Theft

March 7 - A female student reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended wallet from a bench at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at about 7 p.m.

March 7 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed his laptop from his unattended backpack in the Towne Building, located at 220 S. 33rd St., at 5:40 p.m.

March 7 - A female student reported that at about 4:40 p.m. an unknown suspect took her unattended laptop from an unsecured room in Meyerson Hall, located at 210 S. 34th St.

March 7 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed his unattended jacket from a locker room in Houston Hall, located at 3417 Spruce St., at about 2:30 p.m.

March 7 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed a GPS device from his vehicle, parked on the 4100 block Sansom Street, at about 10:45 a.m.

March 7 - Christian Butler, 23, of 4000 block of Lancaster Ave, and Meaghan Alfarano, 21, of unknown residence, were arrested for allegedly trying to leave Cavanaugh's, located at 119 S. 39th St., at about 2 a.m. with a stolen unattended pocketbook. The female complainant was not affiliated with the University.

March 9 - A male student reported that his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, was taken by an unknown suspect from Williams Hall, located at 255 S. 36th St., at around 4:30 p.m.

March 9 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect took her unsecured and unattended laptop from Starbucks, located at 3401 Walnut St., at about 3:50 p.m.

March 11 - A female University employee reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended wallet from an unsecured room from 3401 Walnut St. at about 5 p.m.

March 12 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed his laptop from his unattended bag in Houston Hall at about 7 a.m.

March 13 - A male University employee reported that an unknown suspect removed two computers, secured with cable locks, from Moore School, located at 200 S. 33rd St., at about 2 p.m.

March 13 - Merchandise valued at about $300 was reported to have been taken from the Penn Bookstore by two unknown suspects at about 1:30 p.m.
