Burglary

Feb. 22 - A female student reported that an unknown suspect broke into the building through a window and entered her apartment, located on the 200 block of 41st Street, at about 1:15 a.m. No items were taken.

Fraud

Feb. 22 - A female student reported that her wallet was removed from her open book bag and unauthorized purchases were made on her debit card.

Theft

Feb. 22 - John Haydak, 21, of the 4400 block of Chestnut Street, was arrested by Penn Police after he allegedly took merchandise without paying from the Penn Bookstore, located at 3601 Walnut St., at about 7:30 p.m.

Feb. 22 - A female student reported that her unattended purse and wallet were taken from an unsecured location at Pottruck, located at 3701 Walnut St,, at about 6:45 p.m.

Feb. 22 -- A Drexel student reported that her coat was taken from Marathon Grill, located at 200 S. 40th St., at about 2:30 a.m.

Feb. 23 - A male unaffiliated with the University reported that change, sneakers and a poker case were removed from his unsecured vehicle, located on the 4000 block of Pine Street, at about 6:20 p.m.

Feb. 24 - - John Asbury. 56, residence unknown, was arrested by Penn Police after he allegedly took merchandise without paying from Douglas Perfumery, located at 3603 Walnut St., at about 4:30 p.m.

Feb. 25 -- Angelo Purdy, 39, of the 5900 block of Trinity Street, was arrested by Penn Police after he allegedly took merchandise without paying from Fresh Grocer, located at 4001 Walnut St., at about 12:30 a.m.

Feb. 25 - College freshman Mariam Naeem, 18, of the 3900 block of Spruce Street, was arrested by Penn Police after she allegedly took merchandise without paying from the Penn Bookstore at about 2:30 p.m. Editor's note: Naeem was found innocent and her record was expunged.

Feb. 25 - A female Penn student reported that her unattended laptop was taken from an unsecured room in Van Pelt Library, located at 3420 Walnut St., at about 1:50 p.m.

Feb. 25 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her unattended laptop was taken from an unsecured room in a building on the 4200 block Walnut Street, at about 11:34 a.m.

Feb. 25 -A female University employee reported that her unattended desktop computer was taken from an unsecured room at Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, located at 3620 Locust Walk, at about 9:15 a.m.

Feb. 26 - A female University employee reported that a laptop was stolen from a room at Saint Leonard's Court, located at 3819 Chestnut St., at about 7:45 p.m.

Feb. 26 - A female student reported that cash was taken from her unattended bag in an unsecured room in Van Pelt Library at about 1:10 p.m.

Feb. 26 - - A female University employee reported that her bag was removed from a room in College Hall, located at 3450 Woodland Walk, at about 1 p.m.

Feb. 27 - A female unaffiliated with the University, reported that cash was taken from the cash register at Cosi, located at 140 S. 36th St., at about 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 27 - A male University employee reported that an unattended video projector was taken from an unsecured room in the Life Science Building, located at 433 University Ave., at about 4:45 p.m.

Feb. 27 - A female University employee reported that two computers were taken from a room in the Psychology Labs, located at 3720 Walnut St., at about 12:30 a.m.

Feb. 28 - A female student reported that her laptop was taken from an unsecured room in the Morgan Building, located at 205 S. 34th St., at about 9:20 p.m.

Feb. 28 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that an iPod was removed from her vehicle, which was located on 4000 block of Spruce Street, at about 7:15 p.m.

Feb. 28 - A male University employee reported that two computers were removed from an unsecured room in the Towne Building, located at 220 S. 33rd St., at about 9:20 a.m.
