Burglary

Feb. 19 - Jermaine Harris-Stevens, 27, of the 5400 block of Osage Ave., was arrested by Penn Police after he was observed allegedly removing metal scaffolding from inside a construction site at the Center for Advanced Medicine, located at 3401 Riverview Dr., at about 11:50 p.m.

Theft

Feb. 11 - A male University employee reported that an unattended projector was taken from an unsecured room in College Hall, located at 3450 Woodland Walk, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Feb. 15 - A female student reported that her unattended bag was taken from her seat at Smokey Joe's, located at 210 S. 40th St., at about 3:15 p.m.

Feb. 17 - Unknown suspects were reported to have left Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., without paying, at about 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 17 - A male student reported that his wallet was removed from Pi Kappa Alpha, located at 3916 Spruce St., at about 4:20 p.m. Subsequently, fraudulent charges were allegedly made on the credit cards contained within the wallet.

Feb. 18 - A female unaffiliated with the University reported that cash was removed from a secured safe at Cosi, located at 140 S. 36th St., at about 5:30 a.m.

Feb. 18 - A female University employee reported that her unattended wallet was taken from an unsecured room in Hayden Hall, located at 3320 Smith Walk, at about 1 p.m.

Feb. 19 - A female student and a male student reported that an unknown suspect removed property from a room at 4011 Baltimore Ave. at about 11 a.m.

Feb. 19 - Two male students reported that their unattended laptops were taken from an unsecured room in Irvine Auditorium, located at 3401 Spruce St., between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Feb. 19 - Diamond Burgan, 21, of the 200 block of S. Farragut St., and Lakesha Purnell, 18, of the 7100 block of Morsden St., were arrested by Penn Police for allegedly leaving Urban Outfitters, located at 110 36th St., without paying at about 3:30 p.m. Burgan and Purnell are not affiliated with the University.

Feb. 20 - A female student reported that her unattended wallet was removed from an unsecured locker within the Pottruck Center, located at 3701 Walnut St., between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Feb. 21 - A male student reported that unattended electronic devices were removed from an unsecured room in Harnwell College House, located at 3820 Locust Walk, at about 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 21 - A female University employee reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended handbag from an unsecured room at the Scheie Eye Institute, located at 51 N. 39th St., at about 2:30 p.m.
