Disorderly Conduct
Oct. 28 - Jason Ho - 22 and a 2006 Penn grad - was arrested for disorderly conduct at 40th and Pine Streets at about 11:50 p.m. Police say he was involved in a physical altercation with an unknown man on the street.
Oct. 31 - Daniel Styles - who is 38 years old and unaffiliated with the University - was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly acted in a threatening manner near a food truck on 34th Street at about 5:45 p.m.
Fraud
Oct. 27 - Between Oct. 5 and 27, two fraudulent checks were drawn from a University account at the Franklin Building, to a sum of over $5,700.
Oct. 27 - Bank and credit cards were stolen from a victim affiliated with the University at around 3 p.m. at Buck's County Coffee Co. at 40th Street.
Theft
Oct. 27 - Solande Thorpe - 34 and unaffiliated with the University - was charged with retail theft for allegedly attempting to steal several books from the Penn Bookstore at about 1:45 p.m.
Oct. 28 - A man affiliated with the University reported having a laptop stolen from his suitcase in an unsecured room in Huntsman Hall.
Oct. 31 - An individual affiliated with the University reported that cash and a cell phone, valued at over $330, were stolen from an unsecured locker at the Pottruck gym facilities during the afternoon.
Oct. 31 - A laptop left unsecured was reported stolen from Meyerson Hall. The computer belonged to a person affiliated with the University.
Nov. 1 - A white 1990 Buick Riviera was stolen from the Civic Center parking lot at 34th Street and Civic Center Boulevard. The vehicle belonged to a person unaffiliated with the University.
Robbery
Oct. 27 - At around 1:30 p.m., a wallet containing identification and $55 was reportedly picked from the pocket of a person unaffiliated with the University on the 3700 block of Market Street.
Oct. 28 - An individual who is affiliated with the University reportedly had her purse taken by two men at around 7 p.m. on the 3700 block of Chestnut Street. Her emptied purse was later recovered.
Oct. 31 - At about 7:45 p.m., a robbery occurred at 4039 Chestnut St. The victim, who is unaffiliated with the University, reported the theft of about $1,180 worth of personal belongings.
Nov. 1. - Two men with a simulated weapon allegedly forced a victim - who is affiliated with the University - to withdraw money from a 40th and Market Street ATM at around noon.
Vandalism
Oct. 29 - Various colors of paint were thrown onto the rear wall of Steinhardt Hall in the afternoon to morning hours of the day. An individual affiliated with the University reported the incident.
