Penn won't have long to regroup from yesterday's 15-6 loss to Villanova, as the Quakers will play host to Saint Joseph's (9-18) today at 3 p.m.
The Hawks are coming in off a 3-0 loss to Lafayette yesterday in the first round of the Liberty Bell Classic.
For Penn, today should be a typical midweek "bullpen day," as some of the pitchers slated to take the mound for the resumption of Ivy games this weekend will each pitch for a few innings apiece.
"Some of our weekend guys should be rested enough to throw, so we'll have a little bit more depth," coach John Cole said.
St. Joe's began the year losing 10 straight, including a 23-1 loss to Georgia Southern and a 21-0 loss to Virginia.
The Hawks are led by junior outfielder Matt Godusky, who is hitting .366 with two home runs and 14 RBIs.
