There were no miracles at Cameron Indoor Stadium last night. Penn put up a respectable effort in a hostile environment against No. 1 Duke, but never led after the opening minutes and fell 72-59. Most of the scoring came from Penn's backcourt, as Ibrahim Jaaber scored 16 on 7-for-11 shooting and David Whitehurst added 15 -- all on three-pointers. The frontcourt, on the other hand, struggled against Duke's Josh McRoberts and Shelden Williams. Mark Zoller and Steve Danley combined for 4-for-17 shooting. Add the frontcourt's woes to 26 turnovers, and the result is a second straight loss for the Quakers (3-3). Duke (8-0), meanwhile, got 24 from defending ACC Player of the Year J.J. Redick. And despite frequent double-teams, Williams added 20, while Sean Dockery scored 11 and had five steals. Check out Thursday's DP for a full recap and opinions.
