Crime Report

Robbery

Sept. 13 -- A female student reported being robbed of $10, her cellular phone and credit cards by someone with an unknown weapon at approximately 2:18 a.m at 4030 Sansom St., behind the Freshgrocer. Sept. 10 -- A male student reported that $15 was taken from him at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of Spruce Street.

Theft

Sept. 14 -- A male University employee reported that his red Fuji bicycle, valued at $200, was taken from the 3400 block of Sansom Street at approximately 12:56 p.m. Sept. 13 -- A male student reported that his red Trek bicycle, valued at $600, was taken from outside of Gregory College House, located at 3909 Spruce St., at some time between approximately 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 12 -- A female student reported that her silver and black Route 66 bicycle, valued at $170, was taken from in front of Meyerson Hall at 200 S. 34th St. at some time between approximately 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 12 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that his red men's Schwinn bicycle, valued at $225, was taken from 255 S. 36th St., outside of Williams Hall, at approximately 2:47 p.m. Sept. 9 -- A male student reported that his bicycle was taken from 415 Curie Blvd., in front of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Clinical Research Building. The bike, an Outpost Mountain Bicycle, valued at $250, was taken between approximately 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown person gained entry into 200 S. 33rd St. by forcing a lock and took a toolbox valued at $550 at some time between 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 9.

Theft from Auto

Sept. 12 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that someone broke her car's driver's side window and took numerous articles of clothing and a cellular phone, valued at a total of $300, from the 3700 block of Ludlow Street between approximately 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 1:14 a.m. on Sept. 13. Sept. 9 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that someone broke his car's window and took two laptops of unknown value from 100 S. 38th St. between approximately 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 8 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that someone broke into her car, parked at 3440 Market St., and removed seven CDs valued at $105, between approximately 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 8 -- A male University employee reported that someone broke into his car, parked at 3130 Walnut St., through a damaged window frame and removed a duffel bag, hockey skates, sunglasses and gloves valued at $860 between approximately 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.All information was obtained from the University Police logbook.-- Yona Silverman
