Campus assaults reported yesterday
Two assaults on campus, including an alleged aggravated assault, were reported yesterday.
In the case of the alleged aggravated assault, a man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that the driver of a Pepsi truck ran the truck into him while he was walking on the 3400 block of Walnut Street at 3:07 p.m. He suffered lacerations to the face and was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No arrest has been made in connection with the incident.
The second alleged assault involved a domestic dispute. A female SpectaGuard reported that she was assaulted in Bennett Hall, located at 3340 Walnut Street. She reported that a man she knew approached her, slammed her head against a wall and pushed her down a flight of stairs. However, she did not need medical treatment. She reported that she knew her attacker and that he was unaffiliated with the University. Penn Police could not provide information about an arrest yesterday.
