Theft

*Feb. 2 -- Thurmond Flythe, a 46-year-old black male, was arrested for a theft from Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th Street. Flythe was reportedly found in possession of four bottles of codeine and one bottle of morphine, taken from a locked room inside the hospital.

*Feb. 2 -- A female University student reported her purse stolen from Houston Hall, located at 3417 Spruce Street. The purse contained a cell phone, a calculator and several books valued together at $250.

*Feb. 2 -- A male University student reported his secured bicycle stolen sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from the 200 block of South 34th Street. The bike lock had been cut.

*Feb. 1 -- A female University student reported several items were taken from her purse while she was in the the Fisher Fine Arts Library, located at 220 S. 34th Street. She had left her purse unattended and unsecured, and two credit cards were taken from it.

*Jan. 31 -- A woman unaffiliated with the University reported her purse stolen from a restricted area inside Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th Street. The woman left the purse unattended and unsecured at 6 p.m., and by 8 p.m. It was valued at $160 and contained two credit cards and $10 in cash.

*Jan. 31 -- A woman unaffiliated with the University reported a theft from her vehicle, which was secured and parked in the Penn Tower Hotel parking garage, located on 33rd Street. The left door lock was broken and $15 was taken from the interior of the vehicle.
