Crime Report (1/28/02)

Burglary

*Jan. 24 -- Four walkie talkies, valued together at $400 were reported stolen from Stemmler Hall, located at 3450 Hamilton Walk. Two glass doors and a cabinet which held the walkie talkies were found pried open.

Theft

*Jan. 26 -- A male University student reported his wallet stolen from a locker in Gimbel Gymnasium, located at 3701 Walnut Street, around 8:15 p.m. The wallet, which contained $60 in cash, was missing from the locker when he went to retrieve it.

*Jan. 24 -- A male University student reported that sometime during winter break, a digital camera was stolen from the Delta Psi fraternity house, located at 3637 Locust Walk. The camera was valued at $700.

*Jan. 24 -- A University staff member reported that a laptop computer was stolen from the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter, located at 3231 Walnut Street. The computer was valued at $250.

*Jan. 24 -- A female University student reported her wallet stolen from the Charles Addams Fine Arts Hall, located at 200 South 36th Street. The wallet contained $400.

All information was obtained from the University police logbook.
