Theft

* Oct. 8 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that on Oct. 6 at 10 a.m., he secured his bicycle to a rack outside of Hill College House, located at 3333 Walnut St. When he went to retrieve his bike at noon on Oct. 8, the bike, valued at $105, was missing.

* Oct. 8 -- A woman whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that on Oct. 4, she left her purse unsecured in room 202 of the David Rittenhouse Laboratories, located at 209 S. 33rd St. When she retrieved her purse on Oct. 8, her wallet had been removed from the bag.

* Oct. 7 -- A female University student reported that between 1 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., her white bicycle was stolen from a railing outside of Gregory College House located at 3941 Locust Walk. The bike is valued at $450.

* Oct. 7 -- A man who is affiliated with the University reported that at 8 a.m., he found that the front glass of a candy machine in the Leidy Laboratories located at 3740 Hamilton Walk was broken and the cash inside was taken.

* Oct. 6 -- A man who is unaffiliated with the University reported that he parked and secured his blue and white bicycle to the bike rack in front of W.E.B. DuBois College House located at 3900 Walnut St. at 2:40 p.m. When he returned at 2:50 p.m., his bike was missing. The value of the bike was reported as $89.99.

* Oct. 5 -- A man who is affiliated with the University reported that he parked and secured his blue bicycle to the bike rack in front of DuBois College House located at 3900 Walnut St. on the night of Oct. 4. When he returned at 9:45 a.m., the bike, valued at $100, was missing.

* Oct. 5 -- A man who is unaffiliated with the University reported that between 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 someone punched a hole in the passenger side door of his vehicle, which was parked in the Penn Towers garage located at 399 S. 34th St. Forty-six dollars was reportedly taken from the vehicle.

* Oct. 4 -- A male University student reported that between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., a watch, a pocket-watch and one silver flask were taken from his unsecured room on the 4000 block of Walnut Street. The value of the items taken was reported at $900.

* Oct. 4 -- A man who is unaffiliated with the University reported that he parked his vehicle at the intersection of Convention Avenue and Civic Center Boulevard at 2 a.m. When he returned at 7 a.m., the trunk and driver-side door were reportedly open and $25 had been taken from the vehicle.

*Oct. 4 -- A man who is unaffiliated with the University reported that he secured his black mountain bicycle to the fence in front of St. Mary's Church located at 3916 Locust Walk at 4:30 p.m. When he returned at 6 p.m., the bike and its lock were reportedly missing. The value of the bike was reported as $100.
