Campus Crime Report

Burglary

* Oct. 1 -- A female University student reported that at around 12:30 a.m., an unknown man entered her unsecured apartment on the 4100 block of Spruce Street and took a digital camcorder valued at $1,000. The student described the individual as an African-American male, about 6 feet tall, with short black hair and wearing dark clothing.

* Sept. 30 -- A male University student reported that sometime between 3 a.m. and 11 a.m., unknown persons entered his residence on the 4000 block of Baltimore Avenue and took a bicycle from the kitchen. The student could not remember whether or not the residence had been secured.

* Sept. 30 -- A female University student reported that between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., unknown persons entered her secured apartment building on the 200 block of South 41st Street, and took a bicycle valued at $200 out of her unsecured bedroom.

Theft

* Oct. 1 -- A man who is affiliated with the University reported that he secured several items in a locker at about 2 p.m. inside Hutchinson Gymnasium, located at 220 S. 32nd St. When he returned to the locker at around 3:50 p.m., the lock had been removed, and a watch, diamond wedding band, and credit cards, together valued at $595, were missing.
