Lamar Plummer scored 18 points and Ugonna Onyekwe added 15 on Saturday night for the Penn men's basketball team as the Quakers moved to 4-0 in the Ivy League with a 59-50 win over Brown. Plummer scored five points in an 11-0 Penn run late in the first half after Brown had taken a one-point lead. Although he shot just 6-for-16 from the field, the senior guard led Penn in scoring for the second straight night. Brown (7-11, 1-4 Ivy) faced problems all night long with rebounding. With no starters over 6'7", the Bears were outrebounded 42-34. Penn (7-11, 4-0) grabbed 18 offensive boards, including seven by freshman Adam Chubb. Penn center Geoff Owens scored eight points to go along with seven rebounds. The Red and Blue's captain also blocked two shots. The Bears were led by sophomore guard Earl Hunt, who scored 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. Penn's victory puts it into a tie with Princeton for the Ivy League lead at 4-0. The Tigers defeated Yale on Saturday night at Old Nassau. Harvard is one game behind the Quakers and Tigers at 4-2, while the Elis stand a game and a half back at 3-2.
