CAMPUS BRIEFS: Wednesday, December 2, 1998

IFC Executive Board elections postponed The election meeting was delayed because people were uncertain about the schedule after the Thanksgiving Break, explained outgoing IFC President Josh Belinfante. The IFC is the governing body for nearly all of Penn's fraternities. "I realized last night and the night before that people were coming in late," the College senior said, adding that he wanted everyone present for "an informed meeting." The president or a representative from each fraternity house must be present at next Tuesday's meeting to vote on the executive board candidates, said Belinfante. In an e-mail sent out to all the fraternity presidents, Belinfante wrote that any house that does not send a representative to the meeting will be fined $50 and placed on social probation for two weeks. -- Catherine Lucey
