W. Crew on West Coast for San Diego Classic The Quakers will exhibit their talent for an estimated 20,000 spectators when they race in the Jessop-Whittier Cup. The field of over 3,000 athletes features several nationally renowned club teams as well as such competitive universities as Stanford, Michigan and defending champion University of Washington. The regatta, which begins tomorrow at 7 a.m., will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with live bands, food and other activities.
