Don't let the weather stop you from having a fun and safe Spring Fling weekend. From Quad festivities to block parties to house parties, have fun during this last breather before the onslaught of finals. And check out the post-Fling pancake breakfast -- new this year -- which begins Sunday at 1 a.m. outside of Class of 1920 Commons. With the risk of sounding pedantic, we urge students who choose to drink to drink responsibly. Over the past year, newspapers have been full of stories about binge drinking on college campuses across the country. Many of the stories don't have happy endings. The seriousness of this issue hit home last week when an unconscious freshman Phi Delta Theta pledge was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a blood alcohol level of .356. So be smart this Fling. And keep an eye on your friends as well. Spending the campus' biggest party weekend in HUP would be a shame.
