Penn senior Brandon Slay advanced to the second round in the 167-lb. weight class while junior Andrei Rodzianko moved on in the 190. Ranked No. 3 in his weight class, Slay defeated the University of Illinois' Ben King, who is unranked, in the tourney's opening match.
