Driving Under the InfluenceDriving Under the Influence· March 18 -- University Police arrested a man after he allegedly collided with another car while driving on the 3600 block of Market Street at about 1:30 a.m. Police believed the man was intoxicated and transported him to the Police Administration Building at 8th and Race streets for a Breathalyzer test. The man's name and the results of the test were not immediately available. The driver of the other vehicle complained of neck pains but refused treatment. The incident happened between noon and 2 p.m.· March 17 -- A male University student reported that his secured green Trek bicycle valued at $350 was stolen from a rack outside Leidy Laboratories at 3740 Hamilton Walk between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.· March 17 -- A male University student reported that his laptop computer valued at $1,500 was stolen from the fifth floor of the Roy and Diana Vagelos Laboratories at 34th Street and Smith Walk at 5 p.m.· March 16 -- A University employee reported that an unattended, unsecured IBM personal computer valued at $3,000 was stolen from a first-floor room in the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter at 33rd and Walnut streets between noon and 1 p.m.· March 16 -- A University employee reported that an unattended fax machine was stolen from an unsecured office on the third floor of the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.· March 16 -- A University employee reported that a computer keyboard and hard drive with a total value of $600 were stolen from an unattended and unsecured office on the second floor of the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter between 1:30 p.m. on March 13 and 11 a.m. on March 16.Threats· March 17 -- A woman unaffiliated with the University reported that her boyfriend threatened her physically while inside a car at 40th and Spruce streets at about 8:40 p.m. No injuries were reported.All information was obtained from University Police.-- Maureen Tkacik
