Manning told police he was kidnapped on the 4100 block of Spruce Street by two males who forced him to withdraw $80 from a MAC machine at 52nd and Market streets. Philadelphia Police arrested the 15-year-old juvenile accomplice Thursday on the 4900 block of Baltimore Avenue. Sharis Thomas, 20, of the 4900 block of Walton Avenue, faces eight charges including robbery, kidnapping and false imprisonment for the incident. Thomas is currently in prison for other crimes, police said. According to Joe McDermot, an investigator with the Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives Bureau, the juvenile confessed to some of the crimes during an investigation, after detectives identified the men using surveillance videos from inside the MAC vestibule. No hearing date had been set for either suspect as of last night. -- Maureen Tkacik
