Big 5 bout at Palestra

The Hawks are led by NBA-hopeful point guard Rashid Bey, who is among the Atlantic 10 leaders in points and assists. But the other starters are struggling, however, as St. Joe's is just 1-8 within the America East Conference. While Drexel's backcourt of Mike DeRocckis and Greg Gaffney will struggle penetrating past the quicker Bey, the Dragons' strength lies in their down low game and 6'9" forward Joe Linderman. The sophomore not only led the Dragons in the postseason last season with 18.5 points per game but has also shown the proclivity this season to step up in big games. For the Dragons, who are not an official part of the Big 5, tonight's game is their third and final meeting with Big 5 teams. Drexel has already faced La Salle and Penn.
