To the Editor: And we are succeeding. Last year was the best year financially in the Press's entire history, and this year we are doing almost 30 percent better still. To put the matter differently, each year more and more of our books are finding their way into the hands of readers worldwide. That's what publishing -- academic or otherwise -- is all about.
