Medical student robbed at gunpoint The victim was approached at approximately 7 a.m. by an unidentified male, police said. The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, demanded the victim's wallet, which contained $100 in cash, some traveler's checks and a PennCard, according to police. The suspect also stole the victim's Miyata bicycle, which he used to escape down Baltimore Avenue toward 41st Street, according to police. The student was not hurt in the incident, and police have not yet made any arrests in the case. -- Maureen Tkacik
