Police arrest suspect in grad student mugging University Police Detective John Peterson said 36-year-old Tyrone Manley was arrested in connection with the robbery, and added that police expect to issue warrants for the other two suspects -- whom he described as African American males -- in the near future. According to Peterson, the three perpetrators approached the student at approximately 1:55 a.m. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money from the student before the suspects fled. The student then called University Police, who soon arrested the suspect. The student positively identified the suspect, Peterson said. University Police and the Philadelphia Police's Southwest Detectives Bureau are currently investigating the incident. -- Scott Lanman
